For the second consecutive year, Amezcua Wellness Centre was nominated “Medi-Spa of the Year” in the AsiaSpa Awards, sharing top billing with the region’s finest players in implementing high standards of quality and innovation that have contributed to the industry’s phenomenal growth over the last few years.

Awarding ceremonies were held at The Salon of Grand Hyatt Hong Kong—a fitting venue to a glamorous assembly of respected industry professionals from top hotels, resorts, spas, and wellness establishments in the region.

Representing Amezcua was Sales and Marketing Manager Genny Puno who flew all the way from Manila to Hong Kong to attend the prestigious event. She had the pleasure of meeting top AsiaSpa executives led by BluInc Media Managing Director Olivier Burlot with Editor-at-Large Catherine Nichol, Managing Editor Rebecca Walker, Asia Spa Men Managing Editor Melinda Yon, and Advertising and Marketing Director Min Siah.

Amezcua was recognized for its unique position as the Philippines’ only modern urban wellness center, boasting a team of licensed professionals who render 5-star service in an exclusive, yet comfortable and nurturing environment.

The AsiaSpa Awards were designed to celebrate quality and innovation in the industry. To ensure that they are unbiased, they have been set up to be as transparent as possible. Almost 30 independent spa experts from around the Asia Pacific region make up the judges’ panel. They initiate the shortlist of nominations, choose one winner for each category, and send their choices straight to the law firm in Hong Kong for the final tabulation of results. The announcement of winners is done at the annual awards ceremony each November.
